Refund policy

At Morsale, we want you to love your lighting purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, you can return or exchange most eligible lighting items within 30 days of delivery. Please note that all returns and exchanges are subject to inspection to ensure items are in new, unused condition with original packaging intact (including all tags, boxes, and protective materials). Delivery fees are non-refundable, except in cases of manufacturer defects or transit damage.

Eligible Items & Time Frames

  • Lighting Items (e.g., lamps, fixtures, pendants, chandeliers, sconces, bulbs, and shades): 30-day return window.
  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition. Installed items (e.g., hardwired fixtures or recessed lighting) are not eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom, special-order, or made-to-order lighting products.
  • Clearance, sale, final sale, discontinued, or "one-of-a-kind" items.
  • Personalized lighting items.
  • Opened or used bulbs, or any item showing signs of use, damage, or missing components.

Restocking Fee Policy

At Morsale, we want you to love your lighting purchase, but we understand buyer's remorse happens when selecting the perfect fixture. To sustain our 30-day return window and affordable prices, we charge a 15% restocking fee on non-custom items returned for non-defect reasons like change of mind.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Us Within 30 Days: Reach out to our Customer Service team at sales@morsale.com or call +1 888 985-5034 (available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM EST). Provide your order number, item details, reason for return/exchange, and photos if applicable (especially for defects or damage).
  2. Receive Instructions: We'll review your request and provide a return authorization, shipping address, and any specific packaging guidelines. Do not ship without approval—unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  3. Prepare & Ship: Repackage the item securely in its original materials. Use a trackable carrier with insurance. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged in transit (in which case, we'll reimburse upon verification).
  4. Inspection: Once received (typically 5–10 business days for processing), we'll inspect the item. If approved, your refund or exchange will be processed within 10 business days.

Refunds & Exchanges

  • Refunds: Issued to your original payment method (credit card refunds may take up to 30 days to appear, depending on your bank). You'll receive the full purchase price (minus any applicable restocking fees and original delivery fees). A 10% restocking fee applies to lighting items returned for non-defect reasons.
  • Exchanges: Treated as a return followed by a new purchase. We'll guide you through selecting a replacement and applying any credit.
  • Defects or Damage: Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos. If confirmed, full refunds (including delivery fees) are issued—no restocking fees apply. Unreported issues after 14 days may be considered accepted.

Additional Notes

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required for all returns/exchanges.
  • For shipping damage, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately—claims must be filed with the carrier within 7 days.
  • Cancellations before shipping may incur a 5% fee; no cancellations once shipped.
